Our Story
Founded in the early 1990’s, Mortgage Link was one of the first mortgage adviser groups to be established in New Zealand and played a vital part in the development of the industry. We are 100% New Zealand owned and operated, with over 40 locations across the country all the way from Northland down to Central Otago. As a market leader in financial advice, we are proud to have helped thousands of Kiwis with their home financing needs.
Mortgage Link recently expanded its service offering in 2016 through the establishment of its sister company Insurance Link, which was set up to complement its mortgage products by providing the most comprehensive range of insurance options from the very best insurance providers. Making sure that Kiwis make good, informed decisions about how to protect what matters to them.

Michelle Thompson
Mortgage Specialist
I grew up in Queenstown and joined the banking industry in 1993. After numerous different roles within the bank and further study, I became a Mortgage Link adviser in 2001.
Being able to work with clients, especially first home buyers to find solutions to meet their financial needs gives me enormous satisfaction. Many clients remain with me long term, and in some cases, I am now working with children & grandchildren of my first clients. My goal is always clients first, to get them the most suitable finance, and make the process much easier.
I have 2 young adult sons, and living in Queenstown I enjoy many outdoor activities.
